They sure seem busy, don’t they?
The Milwaukee Bucks just announced a trade today whereby they get a center for a swingman to alleviate the “logjam” created at that position by the re-signing of Michael Redd.
Logjam?!?
Logjam?!? (I feel like Jim Mora talking to reporters…“Playoffs?!?!”)
Because of this trade, they now have 4 centers on the team (I’ll try to refrain from doing math on this blog, but that’s roughly 1/3 of the team) – ranging from the #1 overall pick to a 38 year old with a great work ethic.
Had they not traded a young, talented guy like Mason, they would have had a “logjam” of 3, maybe 4 players at his position.
To me it seems that no one over at the Bucks has strong confidence in any of their centers. Especially their #1 overall pick.
Reality: They traded Desmond before he demanded more money. Convince fans this is good because you are finally over-propagating a position that has been weak as of late - at the expense of a talented, young player who wanted to set roots in the community.
That and it sounds like they have no confidence in Bogut.
Can't wait to see how they spin this one.

You are correct on Bogut. But this will give them 2 seven footers at the 3&4 slot, with three scoring demons down low, could be powerful. But giving up next years 1st seems a bit, well Sherman like.
We should've seen this coming when Lenny Harris (Larry, Lenny, what's the difference?) picked up Bobby Simmons.
